Corporación Financiera Alba ("Alba") is an investment company listed in the Spanish stock exchanges since 1986.

The company is primarily owned by shareholders of the March Group, a leading business and financial Spanish family-owned group in which Banca March and the Fundación Juan March are integrated.

  • Founded in 1926, Banca March is the largest family-owned Spanish bank and the financial institution with the highest solvency ratio ("Tier 1") in Europe. As of today Banca March's strategic business model primarily focuses on Private Banking, Wealth Management and Large corporations, with strong orientation towards family businesses and business families, as well as high income individuals. Banca March is the largest shareholder of Alba.
  • The Fundación Juan March, created in 1955, is a family-run institution that dedicates its resources and activities to the fields of science and humanities. The Foundation organizes art exhibitions, concerts, lecture series and seminars and, through the Center for Advanced Study in Social Sciences, promotes specialized research in the areas of political science and sociology.

Alba is mainly devoted to long-term investments through the acquisition of minority stakes in listed and non-listed companies in several industries, being the investee companies leading players in their sector, with solid management teams and profitable and sustainable business models. It also engages in the lease of properties and holds interests in companies through private equity.
